From Bernhard Zilling - Berlin, Germany - 09.05.15

To his beautiful painting, Bernard joins some material that could help me to learn (?...) Sütterlin, which is (I quote Wikipedia) "the last widely used form of Kurrent, the historical form of German handwriting that evolved alongside German blackletter (most notably Fraktur) typefaces. Recently I used some Fraktur in my mail art -and cuttings from a handwritten old cookbook (in German), of which I was not conscious that it was written using the Sütterlin writing.
