From Bernhard Zilling - Berlin, Germany - 09.05.15

To his beautiful painting, Bernard joins some material that could help me to learn (?...) Sütterlin, which is (I quote Wikipedia) "the last widely used form of Kurrent, the historical form of German handwriting that evolved alongside German blackletter (most notably Fraktur) typefaces. Recently I used some Fraktur in my mail art -and cuttings from a handwritten old cookbook (in German), of which I was not conscious that it was written using the Sütterlin writing.

Sent to Eni Ilis - Campinas, SP, Brazil - 01.05.15

This mail art that I sent to Eni Ilis the 1st of MAY 2015 came back to me, on the 22nd of DECEMBER 2015!!! with mentions "RETOUR" "ao remetente" and "Desconhecido", stamped and written several times all over the frontside of the envelope. On the backside, a stamping of the 15th July 2015 was made in Campinas, specifying "Desconhecido / Inconnu" (that is, "Unknown [at this address]") (see EniIlisRetour).

An email to Eni learned me that his PO Box is not 89 (as I wrote), but 82... With the appropiate correction, I sent back my mail art, curious to hear from Eni when he receives effectively (I HOPE SO...) my sending!
