Sent to Frieder Speck – München, Germany – 25 April 2013 - KONTRAST n°2

Received from Patricio "The Celestial Scribe" – Curitiba, PR, Brazil – 1 May 2013

This is the second mail art I receive this year from Patricio, "The Celestial Scribe" from Curitiba (Brazil). Besides a wonderful intriguing photo, Patricio includes a text about "Angels of Mercy" and a small Poética envelope containing an even smaller red&white mini-envelope with a blue Bomfim-da-Bahia wish ribbon!

The puzzling photo shows a mysterious lady, standing on a Buddha sculpture and wearing a flag with the words "You don't mess with Willemien any more, don't you!". In the margin, the inscription says
"Annuntio vobis gaudium magnum: habemus Willemien!"

Sent to Sebastiaan – Harlingen, Netherlands – 3 May 2013 – KONTRAST n°4

Sebastiaan received for his birthday -today!- KONTRAST n°4, the 4th instance of my new "series" (let's see if it becomes indeed a series!) KONTRASTE, that is, contrasts —now that I am living in Germany, I also need to use the German language!

Received from Roland Halbritter – Nüdlingen, Germany – 1 May 2013

AGAIN mail art from Roland! Jippie! He sent me a big envelope filled with remnants from some of his (main) mail-art projects: Otto von Bismarck (see http://bismarck-mail-art.blogspot.de/) and Andreas Hofer (see http:// andreas-hofer.blogspot.de/). Roland also sent me some "stamps" in honour of the famous Venus von Arheilgen (cf. http://wimpletproy.blogspot.de/ 2012/12/proy31-received-from-unknown-member-of.html). I will most probably reuse (some of these) remnants in new mail-art sendings...
