From Angela Behrendt - Hannover, Germany - 13/10/14

From Wikipedia: "Baumkuchen is a kind of layered cake.…The characteristic rings that appear when sliced resemble tree rings, and give the cake its German name, Baumkuchen, which literally translates to 'tree cake'".
The "spitzen" are the "points" of the
Baumkuchen.
And this is "Echte Handarbeit", that is, "real  manual work, also "needlework", Angela's speciality!

Sent to Janneke - Limmen, Netherlands - 09/10/14

Sent to Ria - Eelderwolde, Netherlands - 09/10/14

From Laurence Gillot - Nancy, France - 09/10/14

In a beautiful, romantic envelope, Laurence sends me a some "treasures", as she calls them!

From Roland Halbritter - Nüdlingen, Germany - 08/10/14

Again using in a special way the Deutche Post (the German Postal services), Roland sends a documentation of sendings he received on his call for the Malerwinkelhaus, among which my sending (see ). The
documentation is made up of "stamps" made of the mail art people sent.

He joins a postcard representing a Dadasculpture that, I suppose, he made, entitles "Wer sich nur einmal gewaschen hat" (Who washed themselves only once), showing an object that, according to Roland, on his blog (http://socks-stockings.blogspot.de/2013/09/new-artcard.html) was going to be exhibited (that was on 29 September 2013) in Schweinfurt at the eventgalerie.

Sent to Dean Marks - Paris, France - 08/10/14

Even if it isn't readable on the photo, I propose that Dean's stores sell, not only Will's Woodbines, but also Willemien's Good Wines!
