Sent to Laurence Gillot - Nancy, France - 21/02/14

My first sending in reaction to Laurent's TWO callS for 1. BIRDS and 2. ANATOMY. The themes are both very inspiring, so there may follow more...
Since I re-discovered Nick Bantock's Sabine (when I wanted to make something for Sabine in Berlin), I use elements from his books. Here the skeleton stamp is again his work!

Sent to Roland Halbritter - Nüdlingen, Germany - 21/02/14

The stamp on the address side of this card to Roland is surrounded by two "stamps" that I made out of a sending by Roland himself.

Sent to Cristina Blank - Wörthsee, Germany - 17/02/14

This card was made with Cristina's "business" card and with her call for Angels & Demons!

The envelope -front and backside- are envelopes from the correspondence between Sabine and the Griffin by Nick Bantock. My only "contribution" were the addresses and the stamp! But they are so beautiful that I "have" to show them!

The little card I wrote to Cristina comes also from Nick Bantock, but the feather is mine!

Sent to Sabine - Berlin, Germany - 17/02/14

In this little Japanese box, I put my letter to Sabine who loves boxes and who received us so kindly when we came last w.e. to Berlin for the Berlinale.

The envelope is made with for a big part with an envelope from the correspondence between Sabine and the Griffin by Nick Bantock.

Guido adds, handwritten, "Voor Willemien, Wat zijn 'grenzen' van landen? ZEVER IN PAKSKES!" For the "Dutchies under us": in het Vlaams Nederlands, is "zever" 1)    Flauwe praat 2) Iemand die wauwelt 3) Klens 4) Kletspraat. "Zever in pakskes" betekent "onzin". Voorbeeld: "Och jong, da’s allemaal zever in pakskes wat gij daar vertelt!"
