Received from Laurence Gillot - Nancy, France - 08/08/13

Wrapped in a page from an old "Nederlands-Frans woordenboek", that is, a Dutch-French dictionary, Laurence sent a mini-booklet of which until now, I only scanned the front and back pages...


The little packet was accompanied by a note on the verso of a leaflet representing, what I qualify as a "dodo", a prehistorical bird (in my pre-scientific view).

The envelope, which contained all this carried a sailor who was joyfully combing the hair of his dog.
